Location: New York, New YorkJob Type: ContractCompensation Range: $50 - 60 per hourOur client in the beauty industry is seeking an expert in AI Search Optimization (AIO) to enhance their brand's visibility and authority across various Large Language Models (LLMs) like ChatGPT, Perplexity, and Gemini. As consumers increasingly use these platforms for discovery, it is crucial that the brand is not only present but also represented by its positive attributes. This role will provide strategic recommendations and tactical execution to ensure the brand story is effectively told on these emerging platforms.Responsibilities: Analyze and provide recommendations for optimizing AI mentions and enhancing our brand's presence on LLM platforms. Conduct a comprehensive landscape review and assessment of our brand website, providing tangible steps to optimize language, content, and back-end metadata for improved AI recognition. Rewrite key editorial content pieces to ensure they are optimized for and surfaced by major LLMs. Develop recommendations to guide our earned media strategy, aiming to have positive press and articles referenced in AI-generated responses. Provide strategic advice for optimizing our brand's presence on influential third-party sites, including Reddit and Wikipedia, to improve our visibility within LLMs. Serve as a subject matter expert, guiding the team on additional strategies and best practices to effectively manage our brand narrative in AI-driven search. Qualifications: Proven experience in AI Search Optimization (AIO) or a similar role focused on optimizing content for large language models. Deep understanding of the current AIO landscape and the factors that influence brand visibility and authority on platforms like ChatGPT, Gemini, and Perplexity. Demonstrated ability to conduct landscape reviews and website audits, providing clear, actionable recommendations for technical and content-based improvements. Exceptional writing and editing skills, with experience rewriting content for search engine and AI optimization. Experience developing and implementing content strategies to improve search rankings and online visibility. Familiarity with leveraging earned media and third-party platforms (e.g., Wikipedia, Reddit) to influence a brand's digital footprint. Ability to work independently, manage project timelines, and communicate effectively with a corporate communications team.
