Assistant Project Manager
Muschlitz Excavating, Inc., a leader in the Sitework and Excavating industry, is seeking an Assistant Project Manager to join its team.  This position will help provide direct support to project management team in the planning and execution of the job including problem solving, managing resources and interfacing with client on detailed, complex construction projects and is accountable for all aspects of the project’s success from initial start to final completion.   
 
Duties:   Review of project plans, specifications and requirements.  Set up project timely.  Manage overall project performance in all aspects.  Serve as a single source contact for client.  Work closely with onsite supervision with respect to in house performance, subcontractor/supplier scheduling and performance.  Maintain accurate submittal, change order logs.
Qualifications:   BS in Engineering, Project Management, Construction Management or related field preferred but not necessary.  3-5 years’ experience on heavy civil, transportation related projects required.  Utilities construction a plus.  Experience with specialized software such as B2W, Agtek, MS Office or similar.
