Are you a friendly and outgoing individual who enjoys providing exceptional customer service? We are currently seeking enthusiastic Hosts/Hostesses to join our team at Armor Brewing Co. As a Host/Hostess, you will be the first point of contact for our guests, creating a positive and welcoming atmosphere that sets the tone for their brewpub experience.

Responsibilities:

• Warmly greet and welcome guests as they arrive, providing a friendly and inviting introduction to Armor.
• Manage the waitlist, accurately estimating wait times, and effectively communicating with guests to ensure a smooth dining experience.
• Escort guests to their tables, ensuring they are seated promptly and in accordance with their preferences.
• Provide menus, answer questions about menu items, and offer recommendations to enhance the guest experience.
• Collaborate with the serving staff and kitchen team to ensure efficient table turnover and exceptional service.
• Handle phone inquiries and reservations, providing accurate information and assistance as needed.
• Maintain a clean and organized host/hostess station, including menus, seating charts, and promotional materials.
• Monitor the dining area to ensure cleanliness, order, and adherence to health and safety standards.
• Assist in maintaining accurate guest counts, managing seating sections, and updating the floor plan as needed.
• Uphold a high level of professionalism and positive attitude, contributing to a welcoming and enjoyable atmosphere for guests and team members.

Requirements:

• Previous experience as a host/hostess or in a customer service-oriented role is preferred.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to interact effectively with guests and team members.
• Friendly and outgoing personality with a genuine passion for providing exceptional customer service.
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities to manage guest flow and seating arrangements efficiently.
• Ability to remain calm and composed in a fast-paced environment.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
