Job Description

GKY Dental Arts Inc. is a small business-owned dental laboratory that places an emphasis on providing thorough and highly personalized dental services and products to clinicians. The products and services we offer are crowns, bridges, metal-free restorations, removables, implants, guided surgeries, and shade matching. We are dedicated to helping smaller dental practices have their needs met through creating and perfecting these products and providing these services.

We are seeking a Model Technician to work in our Removables/Dentures department. While Model work is the primary duty, we also would like to ideal candidate to be willing to learn how to inject valpast into flexible partials (if there is no prior experience or knowledge). 

Responsibilities: 

  • Pour and trim dental models accurately
  • Articulate models with attention to occlusion and stability
  • Perform block-out for removable prosthetic cases

The skills and qualifications we are seeking are:

  • Required: Experience with pouring, articulating, and blocking out models
  • Required:  Must have authorization to work in the United States
  • Preferred but not required: Experience in flexible partial fabrication or injection techniques
  • Strong attention to detail and hand dexterity
  • Must have a minimum of 2 years of experience working with models and/or injecting valpast into flexible partials in a dental lab setting.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team setting
  • Must be able to read and understand instructions in English and/or Spanish 
  • Must be receptive to feedback and willing to learn from corrections
  • Ability to accept supervision and direction professionally
  • Bilingual in Spanish is a plus
