Dean's Professional Services is actively seeking a skilled and patient-focused Phlebotomist II to join a reputable laboratory facility in Dallas, TX . About the Role:
As a Phlebotomist II , you'll be on the front lines of patient care-drawing high-quality blood samples with precision and compassion. Your ability to build patient trust, work efficiently, and maintain high standards will make a direct impact on the quality of diagnostic testing and overall patient experience.
Key Responsibilities:
* Perform venipunctures and capillary blood draws with accuracy and care
* Ensure patient comfort and verify all information prior to collection
* Properly label, process, and store specimens for lab testing
* Maintain phlebotomy supplies and equipment
* Support lab operations by following established safety and quality protocols
* Verify patient demographics post-collection and ensure accurate documentation
* Exhibit professionalism and empathy while interacting with patients of all ages
* Troubleshoot specimen issues and follow up as needed
What We're Looking For:
* High school diploma or equivalent - Required
* Minimum 3 years of phlebotomy experience including pediatric, geriatric, and capillary collections - Required
* Experience in a Patient Service Center or clinical lab setting - Preferred
* Phlebotomy certification - Preferred
* Basic knowledge of medical assisting or paramedic training - Preferred
* Excellent communication and customer service skills - Required
* Strong computer/data entry proficiency - Required
* Compassionate and patient demeanor is a must
Position Details:
* Schedule: Monday to Friday | 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
* Pay Range: $18.00-$23.00/hr (based on experience)
