JOB DESCRIPTION:
Job Title: Physical Therapist Assistant.
Location: 228 Smith Chapel Rd, Mt Olive, NC 28365
Shift Schedule: 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM.
Duration: 13 Weeks (Possible extension depending on business needs).
Pay Rate: $40 on W2.
Guarantee Hours: 35.

Responsibilities:
Assist Physical Therapists in executing treatment plans for patients to improve mobility and manage pain.
Massage and stretch muscles where necessary.
Guide patients through therapeutic exercises and use of assistive devices as directed by the Physical Therapist.
Observe and document patient responses to treatments, ensuring compliance with healthcare protocols.
Collaborate with the healthcare team to optimize patient outcomes and adapt plans as needed.
Brief patients and their families on after-therapy care.

Skills/Experience Needed:
Requires a minimum of 2 years of recent experience as a Physical Therapist Assistant or greater.

Education:
Certification from an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) program.
Valid Physical Therapist Assistant license in CA.
High school diploma or equivalent.

Certifications:
Associate degree from a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) program.
Current Physical Therapist Assistant license in CA.
BLS certification from AHA (preferred).
Must have completed the full vaccination regimen against COVID-19.
