Pay Rate: $2,208 weekly
Schedule:
36 hours per week
12-hour night shifts (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM)
3 shifts per week
Every other weekend & holidays required
No on-call requirement
We are seeking an experienced and compassionate Labor & Delivery Registered Nurse (RN) to join our healthcare team. The RN will provide patient-centered care for women throughout labor, delivery, and postpartum. This role requires strong clinical judgment, critical thinking, and the ability to remain calm under pressure while fostering a supportive environment for patients and families.
Key ResponsibilitiesMonitor and evaluate patients throughout labor, delivery, and recovery.
Develop and implement individualized nursing care plans based on assessments.
Assist physicians with procedures and provide direct patient care during childbirth.
Deliver therapeutic nursing interventions and emotional support for patients and families.
Accurately document care in compliance with nursing standards and clinical guidelines.
Promote evidence-based practices and innovations in patient care delivery.
Uphold professional nursing practice standards.
Perform additional duties as required.
Minimum 1+ year of experience in Labor & Delivery (2 years preferred).
EPIC charting experience preferred.
Education:
Associate’s Degree in Nursing (ASN) required.
Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
Certifications:
BLS (AHA) – required
NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) – required
Valid NJ RN license or multi-state compact license – required
ACLS (AHA) – preferred
Advanced AWHONN or EFM certification – preferred
