Maintenance Manager

We are working with an established **Plastics and Packaging Company **based in **Cincinnati, OH. **They are recruiting for an **Maintenance Manager **to join their team on days in return for a salary in the region of **$110,000 - $125,000 **along with excellent employment benefits which include 401K, Healthcare, Vision and Dental.

Duties as an Maintenance Manager:

• Creating and managing team schedules to ensure coverage across a manufacturing operation.
• Managing a team between 8-12 Mechanics and Technicians
• Evaluating performance and providing feedback.
• Create individual development plans for training
• Responsible for managing multiple shifts of maintenance technicians and/or maintenance supervisors.
• Ensuring all environmental, health and safety standards are met and complied with to ensure an accident-free workplace.
• Implementing CMMS Program
• Manage spare part inventory levels to ensure critical components are always available for preventative and reactive maintenance activities.
• Develop policies and procedures to improve efficiency without compromising safety or quality.
• Develop, implement, monitor, and optimize the organization maintenance management plan in accordance with its goals to improve uptime and minimize costs.
• Performs maintenance management by supervising maintenance personnel and establishing priorities in maintenance schedules.
• Manages maintenance personnel by setting direction and priorities.

Qualifications & Experience required:

• Excellent communication and coaching skills.
• Detail oriented and organized.
• Comfortable “leading-by-example” using hands on training to develop and train team members.
• Proficient computer skills working in Microsoft Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
• Self-motivated, results oriented and excellent communication skills.
• Ability to work with working with 120V, 240V, and 480V.
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering is preferred, technical college.
• 3 years of maintenance management experience.
• Experience in a manufacturing environment is preferred.
• Experience working with industrial machinery is required.
